We are centrally located in beautiful Torbay, just five miles from Torquay in one direction, and the same distance from picturesque Brixham in the other. Shops, Cinemas, Theatres, Railway and Coach Stations are all nearby. Torbay Leisure Centre is 400 yards away for those who enjoy indoor Swimming, Squash, Badminton, etc. Torbay is delightfully situated on the south coast, but faces east, thus it is protected from the prevailing southwest airstream, and yet warmed by the Gulf Stream. Not without reason it is known as the English Riviera! Torbay is an excellent centre for touring, being within easy reach of many beauty spots and interesting places such as: Dartmoor National Park including Widecombe and Dartmoor Prison, Brixham, a quaint old fishing village, Dartmouth, and the beautiful River Dart, The Dart Valley - a delightful experience when travelling by steam locomotive from Paignton station. |
